Vork Motor Transport Inc. has been in business since 1980. We have grown from 12 pieces of power to our present fleet of 53 power units and over 115 trailers. We currently employ over 70 full time and part time employees. Our operation is unique, in so much as it supports our philosophy of 100% on time service with no claims. We have no trace clerks or OS&D clerks, we do not use pro stickers, and all our service lanes are next day delivery. When we know there is an appointment we make the call the same day for the next day delivery instead of waiting until the next day. Our employees are paid by miles and stops, along with bonus dollars for on time, and no claim deliveries. We have received the prestigious “Eagle Award” 12 years in a row for Vork Motor and 6 years in a row for JGS Transportation from APPLETON IDEAS.

We have operations in Carlisle OH, Florence KY, Corryton TN, Nashville TN, with domiciles in all those operations and Frankfort, IN. We operate some of these locations as a FEAT (Freight Expedite Assembly Terminal). 2008 will see us add 2 additional FEAT Operations in Louisville KY, and northern IN. These 2 new FEAT operations will handle and consolidate freight from Chicago to the system and from the system to Chicago along with freight from Nashville TN, and Evansville IN, going into the Western part of our operations. This will allow us to reduce empty miles, and take unnecessary miles being run over Carlisle OH. We currently have 6 sales reps covering the eastern Tennessee, Nashville, Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati, Dayton/greater Dayton areas and Columbus.
