We are pleased to have you apply for a job with Vork Motor/JGS Transportation Trucking, Inc. Some requirements for a driving position with the company are given below.

*Please read each requirement carefully and make sure you meet the company's requirements for driver employment prior to submitting your application.

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid CDL Class A license with appropriate endorsements.
• Minimum two years experience driving commercial vehicles (heavy truck and trailer combinations) over the road.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination. Must meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, drug screening requirements and must agree to submit to controlled substance and alcohol testing as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Regulations.
• Must be familiar with Safety Regulations prescribed by DOT.
• Must be able to properly maintain driver's daily logs.
• Must have general knowledge of all State Traffic laws, Load Restrictions, and other regulations pertaining to interstate/intrastate movement of goods.
• Must maintain a clean appearance; demonstrate a professional attitude and obey all company safety rules and regulations.
• No major traffic violations in the past two years Including:
  1. Reckless/Careless driving.
  2. Driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
  3. Excessive speeding as defined by DOT, any single offense for any speed 15 mph or more above posted speed limit.
  4. Hit and Run citation
• No current license suspension/revocations.
• No preventable accidents involving a fatality, bodily injuries treated away from the accident scene, or disabling damage to a motor vehicle. (Disabling damage means damage which precludes departure of any motor vehicle from the scene of the accident in its usual manner in daylight after simple repairs. This includes damaged vehicles which are drive-able, but would incur further damage if so driven.)
• The ability to pass to the companies' satisfaction a pre-employment background check.
